Challenges

01

One-size-fits-all HIIT

Challenge

Most fitness apps pushed generic high-impact scripts with little context for sore joints, tight shoulders, or recovery needs — leading to drop-off or reinjury.

Solution

Built adaptive low-impact programming that scales load and impact by goal, schedule, and available equipment, with a swap library for joint-friendly alternatives.

02

Sustainable progress signals

Challenge

Users were motivated by calorie burn charts that rewarded ego over consistency, making it hard to see honest readiness and trend wins.

Solution

Shipped volume, readiness, and trend insights that highlight sustainable streaks aligned with recovery — not just calories torched.

03

Guided session fidelity

Challenge

Coaches needed timers, audio cues, and form prompts to stay in sync during garage, hotel-room, and gym sessions on unreliable Wi‑Fi.

Solution

Delivered a coach-led workout player with offline mode, structured timers, and audio cues so members could finish sessions anywhere.

04

Health data integration

Challenge

Heart-rate zones and active energy lived in platform health apps but did not inform training intensity inside the product.

Solution

Integrated Apple Health and Google Fit so readiness and zone data could inform session recommendations without over-collecting metrics.
